Permission for provision of a single storey extension consisting of an accessible changing / shower room (proposed floor area = 14sqm) to the front of the existing single storey school (floor area of existing school = 411sqm), alterations to existing ramp and canopy to main school entrance, provision of a new gated pedestrian entrance in existing front boundary wall, together with all associated site works at Finglas Parochial National School, Church Street, Finglas, Dublin 11, D11 XT35.

The development will consist of the erection of a detached single storey modular accommodation unit to provide: 2 no. mainstream classrooms with associated accessible WCs; 1 no. Support for Education Training room; 1 no. Special Educational Needs classroom including associated quiet space and accessible WCs. Proposed new external soft play area, enclosed with a 1.8m high fence. Proposed external footpaths/ramped approach inclusive of guarding and handrails to proposed development and including all associated site works.

PERMISSION & RETENTION: Retention of existing extended rear garden storage/ office/ gym, permission for a ground floor extension to create link between existing dwelling and new proposed family ancillary accommodation to replace existing storage /office/ gym to rear garden, with internal modifications and associated site works.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: the development will consist of the demolition of 3 no. existing dwellings on site, the construction of a new two-storey 10-bed mental health unit with ancillary accommodation, new vehicular and pedestrian site access, 2 no. car parking spaces, provision of cycle parking, photovoltaics on the roof and ancillary development. The development will also comprise reparation works to the adjoining shared boundary wall of the protected structure of Saint Canice's Church (Record of protected structures Ref. 1554), Church of Ireland.

The development will consist of construction of two storey standalone extension, of approx. total 395 sqm, to the rear (North) of the existing school to provide 2 no. technical rooms at ground floor and 2 no. classrooms at first floor together with ancillary spaces and all associated works.

Planning permission is sought for single storey extension to front, side and rear of existing house, for new utility/games room, also single storey porch extension to front, new single storey lounge to rear and all associated site works.
