Permission is sought for (1) a single storey kitchen extension to rear of existing 2 storey house; (2) a new attic level bedroom suite which will involve constructing a new roof increasing the ridge height and altering the roof profile relative to the existing roof, and including 1 no. dormer window to the rear and 1 no. dormer window to the front, plus 1 no. sloped rooflight to the side roof; (3) insert 2 no. windows and 1 no. door in side walls at ground floor, and (4) to widen the existing vehicular access, with associated works.

The development will consist/consists of: Removal of the existing single storey rear extension and removal of the existing perspex canopy serving the side access adjacent to the footpath along Avoca Park. 2) Construction of a single storey flat roof rear extension to consist of a kitchen/dining area. 3) Construction of single story side extension with a glass lean-to roof to consist of a lounge. 4) General remodel and upgrade of the of the existing dwelling at ground floor to suit the proposed layouts. 5) All drainage, structural and associated siteworks to be implemented.

Planning permission is sought for the replacement of the existing conservatory roof and the construction of a one story lean-to extension containing a handicapped accesible bathroon and walk-in closet plus glazed bay window to kitchen / dining area at rear of the existing house. Planning permission is also sought to enclose the existing porch and re-position the existing garden gate located at the western boundary of the site.

Applying for planning permission. The development consists of the conversion of the attic space to a study, the removal of the hip roof, build-up of a gable wall to apex roof profile and new window all to the side, new dormer roof construction to the rear, internal alterations and all associated site works
