Permission for demolition of existing single storey extension to rear of

Proposed domestic single storey extensions to front, side and rear, alterations to roof profile, with increase in height to accommodate habitable living spaces full refurbishment, dormers to rear & front windows to side & thermal upgrade.

1) Demolish dormer windows to front. Demolish single storey extension to rear. 2) Construct new single storey extension to rear including basement level wine celler. Construct single storey car port to side. Construct new dormer window to front. Construct new dormer windows to rear roof. 3) Block -up existing front door and replace with window. Lengthen existing windows to front (at sides of former front door). Create new front door position to front. Alter window to side. Construct new rooflight to side. Internal alterations to facilitate the above.

Permission is sought for alterations to an existing detached, single storey dwelling including: 1) The conversion of the attic with a revised roof pitch and increased ridge height. 2) The addition of a dormer window and roof lights to the front elevation and the addition of 2 no. Dormers and roof lights to the side and rear elevations. 3) The erection of a 11m2 front entrance porch. 4) Facade revisions including revised glazing, external insulation and material alterations. 5) The erection of a single storey 90m2 extension to the rear. 6) Revised site entrance plus associated landscaping and site works.

Permission is sought for the extension and remodelling of existing dwelling at No. 1 Sorbonne, Ardilea, Dublin 14, D14 NN27 by Nick & Lucy Doherty. The development will consist of the following principal elements: 1) Construction of a two-storey dormer-style pitched roof extension to the side of the existing house, designed to match the height and form of the current structure. 2) Removal of existing garden shed to side of house and construction of new single-storey flat roofed garden shed for bike and plant store to the rear garden. 3) Reconfiguration of existing door and window openings to the front, rear and side elevations. 4) Removal of existing dormer windows and balcony at first floor level to front, side and rear of house and replacement with new contemporary dormer windows and rooflights. 5) Installation of new roof lights to the front and rear of house. 6) Demolition of existing driveway entrance piers and replacement with new piers and electric sliding gate. 7) Proposed hard and soft landscaping works to the front and rear of the house.
