The proposed works include a ground floor window to the front elevation, serving the entrance hall area and the installation of a first floor window to the rear elevation, serving bedroom 1. Both installations are required to provide improved natural daylight and ventilation to these spaces. The proposed windows would be in keeping with the current style and fenestration of the existing windows at the property, with the upper section being a top hung opening section. The proposed first floor rear window, would be located within the existing recess and utilise the existing stone sill, re-establishing the original design intent of Planning Permission Ref: D06B/0530 (overall design updated in D07A/0587), and providing a mirror image of the existing rear elevation of no.1A, Lanesville, Monkstown, Co. Dublin, A96 Y0C6.
