New single storey rear extension, remodelled layout and widened vehicular access.

Permission for development. The development consists of the relocation of existing entrance pier and associated increase in width of the existing driveway entrance by 0.5 metres and all associated site works.

The development will consist of: (i) demolition of the existing single-storey garage to the west (side) of the dwelling, together with the glazed sunroom and shed to the south (rear); (ii) construction of a single-storey pitched-roof porch to the north (front) elevation; (iii) construction of a single-storey flat roof extension to the west (side) and south (rear); (iv) construction of bay window extension with pitched roof to 1st floor level at south (rear) facade; (v) installation of Velux rooflights to the north (front) and west (side) roof slopes; (vi) reduction in size of a first-floor window to the west (side) elevation; (vii) formation of a 1-metre-wide side passage to provide rear access; and (viii) all associated site development and ancillary works.

Removal of existing pitched roof structure, to existing first floor extension to rear, and replacement with (zinc clad) barrel roof structure (to accommodate provision of attic room within roof space), raising existing external walls (to existing first floor extension) to form parapet all round, and, relocation/raising of existing first floor window to the side external wall of the existing house (in connection with the provision of staircase to attic room).

Altering/raising pitched roof, to existing first floor extension to the rear of the existing house, building up the rear external wall to incorporate window, to accommodate attic bedroom extension (within the altered/raised roof space), and, relocation/raising of existing first floor window to the side external wall of the existing house (in connection with the provision of staircase to attic bedroom).
