The development will consist of new signage to existing vehicular/pedestrian entrance to sweetmans avenue with associated site works. The proposed development is within the curtilage of the former Carmelite Convent (now Blackrock Hospice). A Protected Structure (RPS. 262).

Permission for the following works. The demolition and reconstruction of the existing boundary wall to Barclay Court with a new brick boundary wall including a pedestrian entrance from Barclay Court, the demolition and reconstruction of existing structures to the rear of 30.4 sq.m and the construction of an extension to the rear of 32.85 sq.m.

Permission for the following works. The provision of 3 no. dormer windows to the front, reinstatement of original front door with overhead fan light and reinstatement of sash windows.

Permission is sought for development of a ground floor single storey extension of 12 No. hospice bedrooms, alterations to layout of rear garden and associated ancillary site works.
