The development of the existing single storey bungalow proposes extending the eastern end to include a new main entrance door, new living, kitchen and dining areas and 2 new bedrooms, one of which is located on the 1st floor with a new dormer and window. The extension provides an additional floor area of 105.7sqm in total, comprising 88sqm on the ground floor and 17.7 sqm on the first floor. Works also provide for the replanning of the existing house including replacing the existing front door with a window, converting the existing kitchen to a bedroom and one existing bedroom to an exercise room/gymnasium. The development further includes a new wastewater treatment plant to serve the extended bungalow.

Retention Permission is being sought for a 3- year temporary period to facilitate the continuation of use of part of an existing agricultural storage building on site (c. 497 m2) as a specialised joinery business operated by DC Joinery Ltd.
