NIS Mainscourt Solar DAC intends to apply for a 10 year permission for development on lands at Mainscourt, Ballyboghil, Co. Dublin. The development will consist of the construction of an extension to the solar PV farm granted permission under Register Reference F17A/0340 (PL 06F.249174) comprising the erection of photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames within a site area of 12.92 hectares and associated ancillary development including 2 no. transformer stations, 30 no. electrical string inverters units, 6 no. CCTV security cameras mounted 4 metre high poles, perimeter security fencing (2 metres high), underground cabling and internal access tracks. Planning Permission is sought for demolition of detached dwelling (340m2), demolition of ancillary garages and sheds (342m2), construction of replacement (part single and part two-story) detached dwelling (485m2), change of use of agricultural building to home gym and studio (140m2), replace existing septic tank with new wastewater treatment system, SuDS compliant surface water drainage, and all associated site works.
