Planning permission is sought for the conversion

Planning permission is sought for the conversion of existing attic space into a study and bedroom totalling 39.5sq.m with rooflights.

Permission for conversion of attic to storage including 2 velux rooflights to the front, 4 velux rooflights to the rear and a window to the southern gable wall, all at roof level.

South of Ashwood Hall and east of Castleway, permitted under Reg Ref F13A/0460 (An Bord Pleanála Ref. PL06F.243821) and F13A/0460/E1. Permission is sought for an attic conversion to dwelling nos. 22 & 23, both dwellings comprising 1 no. bedroom with en=suite and storage at second floor level with associated staircase from first floor level to access same and additional roof windows to rear elevation of permitted dwelling resulting in 2 no. 5 bedroom 2 storey dwellings with attic conversions. Permission is also sought for all ancillary site works necessary to facilitate the development.

The proposed works for which planning is sought will include the following; demolition of the existing lean-to roof structure at the rear of the ground floor, internal alterations to the existing ground and first floor layouts, the construction of a new single-storey extension to the rear of the existing dwelling, new fenestration details to the front of the existing dwelling including the insertion of a new rooflight, and the conversion of the attic space as a master bedroom suite with new rooflights to the rear pitch of the existing roof structure, all along with associated landscaping, ancillary and site works.

Permission for the construction of 1) a 2 storey extension to the side with converted attic space, 2) an attic conversion of the existing attic to habitable living space, 3) a new window in the side / eastern gable wall at attic level, 4) new velux roof windows and escape windows to the front and rear elevations, with all associated site works.
