Planning precedent report

The development will consist of;

Construction of a new one and a half storey 168.5sq.m. detached house

Alteration and extension works including: demolition of a section of the existing external walls; extending the ground floor footprint to both sides and the rear; a new front bay window; the conversion of the existing garage; a rear and side ground floor extension; an attic conversion to bedroom accommodation; added almost full length dormer window projections to both sides of the existing main roof; internal layout changes at ground and attic levels; and other minor ancillary work.

Planning permission is sought by Jeanne McKeown for development as follows: (i) Single storey extensions to front, side and rear of existing bungalow, with increased footprint; (ii) New pitched roof with increased ridge height to create habitable attic-level accommodation; (iii) New dormer roof windows and roof lights, front and rear; (iv) alterations to elevations, and all associated site works at No.38 Ard Na Mara Crescent, Malahide, Co. Dublin.
