Permission for the construction of 1) a 2 storey extension to the side with converted attic space, 2) an attic conversion of the existing attic to habitable living space, 3) a new window in the side / eastern gable wall at attic level, 4) new velux roof windows and escape windows to the front and rear elevations, with all associated site works.

Permission for conversion of attic to storage including 2 velux rooflights to the front, 4 velux rooflights to the rear and a window to the southern gable wall, all at roof level.

The proposed works for which planning is sought will include the following; demolition of the existing lean-to roof structure at the rear of the ground floor, internal alterations to the existing ground and first floor layouts, the construction of a new single-storey extension to the rear of the existing dwelling, new fenestration details to the front of the existing dwelling including the insertion of a new rooflight, and the conversion of the attic space as a master bedroom suite with new rooflights to the rear pitch of the existing roof structure, all along with associated landscaping, ancillary and site works.

Planning permission is sought by Birchwell Developments Ltd for a proposed change of house type at Nos. 30 – 34, 39 & 40 Brookfield, Back Road, Malahide, Co. Dublin (south of Ashwood Hall and east of Castleway) permitted under Reg. Ref. F13A/0460 (An Bord Pleanála Ref. PL06F. 243821) and F13A/0460/E1. Permission is sought for: (1) change of approved House Type A (detached, two-storey, four bed dwelling) to House Type A4 (detached, two-storey with attic conversion, five bedroom dwelling) at No. 30 Brookfield; (2) change of approved House Type B (semi-detached, two-storey, four bed dwelling) to House Type A6 (detached, two-storey with attic conversion, five bedroom dwelling) at No. 31 Brookfield; (3) change of approved House Type A (semi-detached, two-storey, four bed dwelling) to House Type A4 (detached, two-storey with attic conversion, five bedroom dwelling) at No. 32 Brookfield; (4) change of approved House Type A (semi-detached, two-storey, four bed dwelling) to House Type A3 (detached, two-storey with attic conversion, five bedroom dwelling) at No. 33 Brookfield; (5) change of approved House Type A (semi-detached, two-storey, four bed dwelling) to House Type A3 (detached, two-storey with attic conversion, five bedroom dwelling) at No. 34 Brookfield; (6) change of approved House Type B (semi-detached, two-storey, four bed dwelling) to House Type A5 (detached, two-storey with attic conversion, five bedroom dwelling) at No. 39 Brookfield; and (7) change of approved House Type A (semi-detached, two-storey, four bed dwelling) to House Type A3 (detached, two-storey with attic conversion, five bedroom dwelling) at No. 40 Brookfield. The development will provide for 7 no. detached 5 bedroom dwellings in lieu of 1 no. detached and 6 no. semi-detached four bed dwellings. Permission is also sought for all ancillary site works necessary to facilitate the development.
