Planning precedent report

(1) Change of use of existing attic to storage use (2) to replace the existing side hip with a gable roof profile (3) dormer window to the rear and all associated site works.

The development will consist of: Attic conversion for storage, incorporating a dormer window and rooflight to the front and a dormer window and rooflight to the rear, a raised gable to the side, and two gable windows.

Permission sought for an attic conversion to include a dormer window structure at attic level to the rear and realignment of main roof structure to replace the hipped design with a new gable design. Also, 2 no. flat rooflights to the front roof surface at attic level and a single storey infill extension to the rear.

Alterations/extensions to the existing two storey semi-detached dwelling, comprising of construction of a new single storey extension to the side and rear, with roof lights, plus associated internal reconfiguration, and site development including widening of the existing vehicular entrance and opening of a new pedestrian entrance to the north boundary wall.

Retention of change of use of family room to Montessori pre-school originally granted under application Ref. 93A/0609 for 7 children all in existing single storey 21 sqm ground floor family room.

The development will consist of retention permission for the rear structure and permission for single storey side/rear extension to connect rear structure to main house and all associated site works.
