Planning permission for the construction of a national velodrome and badminton arena over a footprint of 8,100 sqm comprising 250m cycle track with 12 no. badminton courts within, internal bicycle store area, changing rooms, medical and emergency rooms, areas for offices, administration and meetings, timing, event and training control, training and event preparation, strength and conditioning, circulation and storage, stairs and lifts, and proposed service area to the rear. Provision of circa 1,000 no. permanent spectator seats, with provision to accommodate other occasional sporting events within the track with scope for a further temporary 2.500 seats for non cycling and badminton sporting events. The proposed structure is 16.4 m in height to the continuous parapet, the centre of the roof proposed is 19.6 m in height at the structure tallest point, is 120 m in length, and is 90 m at its widest part. the exterior of the structure will be of profiled metal rainscreen cladding placed upon a plinth of vertical profiled louvres and curtain wall glazing, with an aluminium standing seam roof. External works include the creation of a surrounding plaza area including "cycling walk of fame", reprofiling of surrounding land utilising spoil from excavation for the proposed development to include and extensive soft landscaped area including additional tree planting, enhancement of biodiversity, and allowance for potential future cyclo-cross course to the north/BMX track to the east, sustainable urban drainage scheme, network of pedestrian routes, allowance for future provision of light rapid transit system in close proximity to the proposed structure, provision of 301 no. car parking spaces including 16 no. accessibility spaces and 30 no. EV charging spaces, 120 bicycle parking spaces half of which are covered, provision of power points for e0bikes, 12 no. dedicated coach park spaces and drop off point, and all associated works. Permission for the removal of Planning Condition 10 (a) (i) of Planning Permission Ref: FW22A/0166 for the national velodrome and badminton arena to permit a 5.21m landscaped earth mound in excess of the conditioned 2.5m mound. The permitted development is located at the National Sports Campus, Snugborough Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.

Permission to relocate the substation and meter room to an outdoor service yard located at the rear and north of the permitted National Velodrome and Badminton Arena building (previously approved under planning permission ref: FW22A/0166). The proposed substation and meter room will be a single-storey structure recessed into the landscaped earthen area. To accommodate this development, there will be a minor modification to the previously approved concrete retaining wall alignment, which now wraps around the proposed development.

The construction of a 5 metre high, single storey plant room to enclose existing plant area and machinery with a total floor area of 100m2 to the rear on the south facing elevation of the existing building and to include all associated site works to facilitate the proposed development

Temporary development (5 year duration) consisting of the following; (a) hardstanding external car park for c.45 no. cars with vehicular access onto the Public Road (b) an external car wash bay (c) a steel clad commercial unit (c.287 sq.m.) for both internal parking/recovery and car valeting (d) a chemical WC cubicle for staff (e) advertising signage as erected (f) external lighting column and CCTV cameras and (g) connection to (e) advertising signage as erected (f) external lighting column and CCTV cameras and (g) connection to surface water network and all other associated siteworks.

New entrance area at the National Indoor Arena; alterations to existing vehicular access, provision of some 200 no car parking spaces including disabled spaces and 5 no. EV charging spaces; provison of 200 bicycle spaces, and enhanced landscaping at the National Indoor Arena, National Sports Campus, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.
