To sow native trees along river bank, mechanical raking and loosening of existing gravel substrate to improve spawning/riparian habitat for salmonids

To develop a Climate Action Park at Foats / Levallynearl, Aughrim, Ballinasloe, Co Galway. The development will result in the creation of approximately 1,600 metres of pathways through an existing 1.7 hectare grassland site: the signposting of points of ecological, spiritual and archeological significance: the planting of carbon-sequestering trees, shrubs, hedgerows, wildflowers, bulbs and grasses and the introduction of picnic tables, benches and bins.
