To construct slatted cubicle shed and all associated site works

The development will consist of filling a portion of an existing depression (approx. 9500m3) with inert subsoil material for the purposes of restoring the lands for agricultural purposes and to facilitate a path for wheelchair access, together with the erection of a 1.2m high fence, provision of a piped culvert and associated site works including the provision of a footpath. Access to the development will be via the existing vehicular access from the Kilkenny - Castlecomer N77 National Secondary Route.

For development. The development consists of the backfilling of a permitted sand and gravel pit (Plan File Ref. No 21204) and agricultural land with article 27 by product soil and stone; all associated ancillary facilities, including, internal haul roads, wheelwash, small portacabin office/canteen and chemical toilet all within an application area of c.8.2 Ha. The applicant is seeking a 20-year permission for infilling and associated activities, with an additional 2 years for final site restoration,

To carry out the following development (1) Continued Extraction of Gravel as previously authorized under Planning Reference No 07/2226 (area 2.25 hectares) (2) Continued processing of extracted gravels including crushing, washing and stockpiling using mobile plant (3) Restore newly extracted area to agricultural use (4) Amend previously approved Restoration Plan under Planning Reference No. 07/2226 and undertake such works using site won soils and imported inert materials (5) Continue to access the site from the N77 (Kilkenny to Castlecomer Rd.) at Dunmore. (6) All works shall be confined within an overall site area measuring 7.61 hectares and located fully within the site previously approved under Planning Reference No. 07/2226. This application is accompanied by a Natura Impact Statement
