Ext of duration continuance of use of existing quarry workings P.Ref.01/2270, Pl.09.130209.) comprising extraction of sand and gravel (on c.27 ha), washing, crushing and screening, silt lagoons, overburden storage and site access on lands at Netown Great Townland, Naas, Co.Kildare. Also continued use of canteen, toilet facilities, control room, wheelwash, service shed, bunded fuel storage and other ancillaries. The development will also consist of the extension of quarry workings, comprising of extraction of sand and gravel to the west on c.8.5ha and to the east on c.8.6ha of lands and construction of landscaping/screening berms. It is also proposed to retain the weighbridge facility. The total area (c.44.1ha) will be subject to progressive restoration with final restoration to agriculture/woodland amenity use.
