The BESS will consist of: up to 10 no. containerised battery storage modules (up to 14.6m in length, 2.8m in height and 2.4m in width) and ancillary equipment including up to: 14 no. transformers, 28 no. inverters, 14 no. ring main units; a 38kV electrical substation and ESB substation building (10m in length, 6.2m in height and 7.4m in width); electrical equipment building (20m in length, 8.2m in height and 7.4m in width); underground surface water attenuation tank; underground foul storage tank; access and internal circulation road with new junction onto existing IDA private road; 6 no. car parking spaces; landscaped berm wall up to 2m height and native tree and scrub planting, screening wall up to 3m height; 3m high paladin security fence; and all other associated site development works including surface water and foul drainage required to facilitate the development

For development which will consist of infrasture to manage sludge imports at the existing wastewater Treatment Plant site and comprises: New Site suface drainage and pipework and manholes; new Concrete hardstanding area; 1 No. sludge import screen and associated bunded area; 1 No. buried sludge imports receiption tank including 2 No. sludge transfer pumps; 1 no. Sludge Blending tank including 2 no. sludge transfer pumps; 1 No. Sludge Belt Press for sludge dewatering including polyelectrolyte dosing pumps to be housed within existing dewatering building; 1 No. Sludge liquor Return Balancing tank including 2 No. Liquor transfer pumps; Odour control plant for sludge imports; Works also include refurbishment of some existing mechanical and /or electrical components to existing equipment with the existing WWTP. A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared for this proposed development and is being submitted to the planning authority with this applicaiton

For the following works: the extension of the existing car parking areas to comprise of an additional 30 no. car parking spaces in total in 2 separate locations (22 no. spaces in one location and 8 no. spaces in a second location) including landscaping works and associated ancillary site works
