A temporary prefabricated building for use as a classroom and all related site development works including roads, parking and drop-off area

The development that consists of alterations to previously approved car park (Pl. Reg. No. 19/1287) & new fencing

Alterations to the Aula Maxima Building comprising of a new escape stairs & 6no. lecture rooms at first floor

The upgrade of sports lighting to the existing GAA pitch(500 Lux), football pitch(500 Lux) and warm-up area(150 Lux), and a new proposed generator compound area(21.5 sqm) with security fencing. The works to include all associated site services

The development that will consist of the following: (1) The removal of 8 no. prefabricated classrooms (150m2). (2) The construction of a 5 storey (c.5,248m2) Applied Science and Information Technology (AS & IT) Building. The building will comprise Science Laboratories and Computer Rooms, General Teaching Spaces, Lecture Theatre, Staff Accommodation, Sanitary Facilities, Smarter Travel Changing Rooms, Ancillary Service Areas and Screened Planting setback at roof level. (3) The adaptation of existing standard car parking spaces to 8 no. universal parking spaces with a new set down area (Area c. 0.0423ha). (4) The provision of 148 no. new bicycle parking spaces comprising; (a) The construction of a covered and secure bicycle storage area comprising of steel racks for 88 no. bicycles (Area c. 0.0159ha). (b) The provision of 60 no. bicycle parking spaces located under the soffit of the proposed building. (5) The relocation of 1 no. existing bicycle shelter comprising 40 bicycle parking spaces. (6) The provision of a new pedestrian crossing and walkway. (7) The provision of Photo Voltaic (PV) Panels at roof level. (8) All associated site development works, site services, provision of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), and landscaping works

(a) the removal of existing temporary accommodation; (b) the construction of a 5 storey (c. 5248sq.m) applied science and information technology (AS & IT) building (site area c. 0.2877 ha) comprising science laboratories and computer rooms, general teaching spaces, lecture theatre, staff accommodation, sanitary facilities, smarter travel changing rooms, ancillary service areas and screened plant set back at roof level; (c) external works including the creation of 40 no. new car-parking spaces (site area c. 01480 ha); the adaption of existing car parking spaces to accommodate 8 no. wheelchair accessible parking bays and a new set-down area (site area c. 0.0423 ha); (d) relocation of existing bicycle shelter (40 no. bicycle parking spaces) and provision of a total of 148 no. new bicycle parking spaces (88 no. in a secure shelter (site area c. 0.0159 ha) + 60 no. on racks adjacent to proposed new building; (e) all associated site development, site services and landscaping works
