EXTENSION OF DURATION of file no. 17/556 - Demolition of single storey offices, (29m2) technology room and corridor (198m2) to the rear of the school. Construction of a new three storey classroom building with an adjacent two storey general purpose room and New School entrance. Construction of a three storey link building between the new classroom block and existing building. (3600 m2 In Total) Construction of a new single storey extension to the existing Sports Hall Building (62.5 m2). Extension of the double height sports hall to include new ballcourt (139 m2). Upgrade works to the existing 2004 Building, including replacement of the existing windows and doors with modifications to remove existing link building entrance. Upgrade works to the existing & 1939 building (protected structure), including refurbishment and upgrade of existing windows. Upgrades & repairs to damaged render and decorative façade features. Construction of ancillary external storage areas and associated site development works including landscaping, alterations to existing vehicular entrance to facilitate set down area and carparking along with an existing wayleave adjacent to the site boundary.

Modification to the new classroom block extension as originally permitted under Reg No. 17/556. The proposed modification comprises of the incorporation of photovoltaic solar panels onto the roof of the proposed classroom block extension, which is within the curtilage of a Protected Structure. Approximately 120m2 of Cell Area (80 Panels) to be incorporated on the south-western side & 105m2 of Cell Area (70 Panels) on the North Eastern side of Proposed School Building Extension Roof. A further modification to the roof parapet, at the rear of proposed new classroom block, to create an enclosed riser for mechanical extracts above roof level

Amendments to Planning Ref. No. 17/556 to comprise of the construction of a combined single storey ESB Substation, Electrical Switchroom, Bike and Bin Store building totalling 104sq.m. modifications to the blockwork wall adjacent internal site road detailed in Planning Ref. No. 17/556 and modifications to the surface water drainage and associated site ancillary works. The proposed works are within the curtilage of Waterpark College which is on the Record of Protected Structures.

Development at this site (a protected structure) which consists of the removal of part of a railing and low wall on the Newtown Road Boundary, and the relocation of part of the railing and low wall within the site, to accommodate off-street parking for 2 no. cars and all associated site works
