- Construction of a two-storey sports changing-room building with associated multi-functional area at first floor and spectator stand addressing the recently permitted sports pitch, - Localised extension of the existing tarmacadam ball court area, - Relocation of existing bike racks within the existing school site, and - All associated site development works.

For development. The development will consist of an Artificial Grass Playing Surface with Surround Fencing, Floodlighting and Ball Stop Netting, together with all associated site development and ancillary works

For development on lands off the Dunningstown Road and Lousybush Lane (the L-10075 Local Road) in the townlands of Lousybush and Loughmacask in Kilkenny City. The development will consist of modifications to the permission initially granted under application register reference 21/327 (An Bord Pleanala appeal case reference ABP-311326-21) which approved the development of a school. The modifications proposed to the approved scheme comprise revisions to incorporate 5 no. heat pumps in an enclosure measuring 13m x 8.5m, 1 no. LPG tank in an enclosure measuring 3.8m x 6.3m, and all their associated site development works

The development will consist of the construction of a part 3-storey, part 2-storey 37-classroom school building with a total floor area of 10,564 sqm and incorporating associated support teaching spaces, offices and meeting rooms, a multi-use hall, library, staff rooms and all ancillary accommodation, including photovoltaic panels and green roofs at roof level. Works to the new school grounds will consist of the provision of 6 no. ball courts, outdoor seating and breakout areas, a sensory garden, a covered tech yard, external store building (50 sqm) and substation (22 sqm) and associated hard and soft landscaping throughout. Provision is made for the future development of a full sized sports pitch, but which does not form part of this proposal. The development will also include the construction of a new access roadway incorporating footpaths, cycleways, public lighting, and landscaping, that will tie into Kilkenny County Council's proposed Loughmacask Link Road at its Dunningstown Road junction at Lousybush. Parking and access arrangements will incorporate an internal drop-off and pick-up area for cars and an external set down for buses, the provision of 92 no. car parking spaces, incorporating 5 no. disabled parking spaces, and 342 no. bicycle parking spaces, 264 no. of which are sheltered. Permission is also sought for new foul, water and surface water drainage system works, associated with both the school and the roadway and incorporating a swale, attenuation, rainwater harvesting, and a flood storage compensation area, boundary treatments, including retaining walls, and all other site development works

For alterations to the previously permitted Planning Register Ref. 10/15 (An Bord Pleanála Ref. PL10.238542), Planning Register Ref. 22/591, Planning Register Ref. 23/60297 & Planning Register Ref. 23/120 to include the following works; 1) Alterations to the previously permitted Phase 01 of the development to omit 2 No. Apartment & Duplex Buildings (with a total accommodation of 30 No. Units) and to replace with 2 No. 4-bed detached houses, a terrace of 4 No. 3-bed houses, and 2 No. two-storey maisonette buildings with 8 No. own door 2-bed maisonettes per building (to a total 16 No. maisonettes). The overall accommodation proposed is 22 No. Units, a net reduction of 08 No. units which will be reaccommodated in future Phase 03 and 04 planning applications. 2) Revised landscaping, homezone, and car parking proposals to provide an extended and continuous landscaped area from Park Avenue through to the Lousybush Lane boundary. 3) Relocation of previously permitted Units 38-44 from Planning Register Ref. 23/60297 to the south east by c.1.1m (no change in unit types or the number of units proposed). 4) Omission of a previously permitted services building and provision of a new single storey 4.0 SqM services building. 5) Provision of 14 No. on-curtilage residential car parking spaces for relocated houses 38-44 as previously permitted, provision of 12 No. on curtilage car parking spaces along with 3 No. visitor parking spaces for the proposed 06 No. terraced and detached houses, and provision of 21 No. on street parking spaces for the 16 No. maisonette units. 6) Provision of 3 No. covered bicycle parking area (totalling 36 No. covered bicycle spaces) along with 18 No. uncovered (visitor) bicycle spaces. 7) All associated site & development works at Bishops Lough, Loughmacask, Kilkenny.
