Site planning risk brief

Develop a Blueway along the River Erkina through the townlands of Castle Durrow Demesne, Knockanoran, Ballygauge Beg, Derreen and Carrowreagh, Ballygarvin Glebe, Ballyboodin, Kyletilloge, Braccas, Oldglass and Kilnaseer, Co.Laois. The development will consist of the construction of a floating pontoon at Castle Durrow Demesne, a foot bridge on the River Goul at its confluence with the River Erkina, car park at the Wooden Bridge, access steps at Boson Bridge, 3 no. information signs, partial removal of in river silt deposits, stockpiling of silt on adjacent lands, lopping of overhanging tree branches as necessary and all associated ancillary works. A Natura iImpact Statement has been prepared in respect of the project and is being submitted with the application

Amend previously granted permission planning ref 19/337 to develop a blueway and associated ancillary infrastructure along the river Erkina, Co. Laois. The amendment consists of the relocation of proposed car park at Ballyboodin to a location approximately 150m North and also to include a sealed changing toilet unit. A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared in respect of the project and is being submitted with the application

The construction of a cow cubicle/easi-feed house, a weanling cubicle/easi-feed house, a slatted slurry tank, a machinery house, all with associated concrete yards and site works

Construct an overground slurry store, an underground slurry reception tank, a manure pit and a storage area for tyres and plastic, and all associated ancillary facilities, works and services.

Construct dwellinghouse, entrance, garage, septic tank with percolation area and all associated site works

Retain domestic garage and all associated site works
