For; increased tonnage throughput of the existing and permitted waste metal recycling facility from 80,000 tonnes of waste per annum (permitted under planning ref: 15/1240) to 95,000 tonnes of waste per annum. The application relates to development which comprises an activity that is subject to an Industrial Emissions licence from the Environmental Protection Agency An EIAR will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application

For development which will consist/consists of modifications to the fixed plant and associated infrastructure used withing the existing waste metal recycling facility permitted and operating under permission reference 15/1240, 14/1055 and 97/3155 and specifically: (1) Retention permission for; (a) relocation of "pre-shredder" unit permitted under planning ref: 14/1055, (b) construction of a roofed structure to accommodate the relocation of the "cooling fans" permitted under planning ref: 14/1055; (c) increased area of the acoustic screen barrier from that permitted under planning ref: 14/1055; (d) extension to the existing "weighbridge" building to provide for a new electrical switchroom/substation;; and (2) Planning permission for: repositioning of existing diesel tank and bunded area permitted under planning ref: 14/1055. Gross floor space of proposed works 27.8sqm, Gross floor space of work to be retained 90.7sqm.

For alterations to the development previously permitted under Pl Ref. 2460991 at the site of the existing transfer station facility; (i) the replacement of the single vehicle entrance door permitted for the eastern elevation of the transfer station building extension with two vehicle entrance doors, (ii) the partial removal of the existing wall separating the existing and permitted building areas, and (iii) repositioning of the permitted personnel access doors. Construction of the eastern elevation of the permitted development (GCC ref 2460991) will not commence until such a time as a grant of planning for the proposed development is received. The development comprises an activity subject to an existing Waste Licence (EPA reference no. W0148). Gross floor space of proposed works: 1,038 sqm

For: i) The removal of existing non-convenience retail island & fuel dispensers, along with bund wall & 1no. above fuel tank; ii) The construction of a new double sided bottom loading skid fuel area; iii) The addition of 2no. overground fuel tanks & associated pipework & fill points; iv) The creation of 4no. HGV parking spaces; & v) All other associated site development works

For (1) extension of the existing transfer station building by 1,061 sqm over the yard area granted in planning application 14328; (2) replacement of the existing weighbridge office with a new weighbridge office building; (3) installation of a platform weighbridge system; (4) installation of a new modular staff welfare unit; and (5) ancillary works including building exit doors for personnel, new bicycle shelter and reconfiguration of existing car parking. The development comprises an activity subject to an existing Waste Licence (EPA reference no. W0148). Gross floor space of proposed work: 1,116.00 sqm

For (1) demolition of existing weighbridge, single storey weighbridge office, & single storey office buildings; (2) reorganisation of the internal site layout to facilitate enhanced operational arrangements of the permitted processing & temporary storage of waste metal prior to onward transfer with an annual throughput of 60,000 tonnes per annum including development consisting of: (i) construction of a new weighbridge & office; (ii) construction of a new stores building with ancillary administration & employee welfare/rest facilities; (iii) modifications to existing internal access road & internal site access/egress; (iv) provision of new separate storm & foul water collection systems including: (a) connection & discharge to public foul mains; (b) discharge of surface water to existing outlets; (c) connection to public water main; & (d) provision of surface water management attenuation works including provision of underground storage tanks & interceptors; (v) provision of new metal shearing plant; (vi) esb substation; (3) provision of a new 6m high boundary fence & associated landscaping; & (4) all associated site development works
