For development consisting of: A ten year permission for 1) the demolition of the Kilnacrott Abbey buildings and for the construction of an education / retreat centre comprising, 2) a caretakers lodge (residency) of 124 SqM, 3) 4 No. 3 bedroom dwelling units of 120 SqM each, 4) 4 No. multi-occupancy (8 bedroom) dormitories of 367 SqM each, 5) an administration building of 1,258 SqM with dining areas, offices, studios, crèche, ancillary toilet and stores, 6) a conference and education centre of 1,163 SqM, 7) an oratory of 180 SqM, 8) a maintenance building of 144 SqM and 9) an effluent treatment system to replace the old septic tank system, ancillary parking, sports facilities (astro pitches) and associated external works. The application is accompanied by a Natura Impact Statement (NIS)

Revisions to a previously granted education / retreat centre (Pl. Ref. 23/60014) as follows: 1) revisions to the administration building including a 142 SqM increase in floor area (now 1,400 SqM), to accommodate additional ancillary plant areas on the ground floor, a new first floor plant level, increased roof heights, revised roof overhangs and all associated internal and elevational changes, 2) an ESB substation / switch room building (32 SqM) and all associated external works

For 1 no fully serviced, bungalow style dwelling, new sewage treatment system & percolation area, private well, new entrance walls and piers and all associated ancillary site works

To construct 1 No. Poultry house together with all ancillary structures (to include meal storage bin(s) and soiled water tank(s)) and all associated site works (to include new/upgraded site entrance). SIGNIFICANT FURTHER INFORMATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED.

To demolish 1 no. existing pig house, and, to construct 2 no. pig houses, together with all ancillary structures (to include solar panels on 3 no. existing houses) and all associated site works arising from the above proposed development. An Environmental Impact Assessment Report (E.I.A.R) and Natura Impact Statement (N.I.S) relating to this proposed development will be submitted with this planning application. This application relates to a development, which is for the purposes of an activity requiring a licence under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Agency (Licencing) Regulations 1994 to 2013

To relocate 2 No. pig houses (previously approved under planning ref: 18/409), together with all ancillary structures and all associated site works arising from the above proposed development.
