Planning precedent report

The removal of the existing cabin (granted temporary permission under Ref: SD21A/0270) and will seek temporary permission (5 years) for a newly proposed single storey cabin measuring c.137.3sqm. The proposed cabin will provide additional executive office space for the hospital operations. All associated site development works.

Temporary permission (5 years) for retention of 1 existing single storey cabin measuring 38.7sq.m; temporary permission (5 years) for a new cabin measuring 125.5sq.m. (total area of existing and newly proposed cabin will be 164.2sq.m). They are needed for I.T and Admin support space for hospital operations; and all associated site development works.

Construction of a general storeroom (single storey) measuring 91.4sq.m; overhead canopy connecting the proposed store to main hospital building; all associated site works.

2 storey extension over an existing 3 storey accommodation block totalling 2,700sq.m containing 62 in patient bed spaces and ancillary hospital facilities (nurses' stations, storage areas etc.) existing roof lantern, stainless steel mast and plant items will be relocated from present roof to new raised roof; an increase in the height (by 1.4m) of the screening panels around the chiller compound on the roof of the lower ground floor; all associated site development works. The new parapet height of the accommodation block will increase from +58.3m to +65.265m.

Single storey extension to the existing Hermitage Medical Clinic to provide a Day of Surgery Admission Unit (c.197sq.m) located within the existing central courtyard including the provision of an AHU Plant Enclosure (c.46sq.m) at first floor level and all associated site development works.

4 storey multi car park with 8 car parking levels, accommodating 487 car parking spaces in a building with an area of 13,667sq.m and a height of ca.11.2m at it’s highest point; all associated site development and landscaping works including alterations to the existing internal road network. The multi-storey car park will be located south east of the existing hospital building.
