Re-locating the baptismal font to the Nave in front of the high altar, constructing a lobby, meeting room, store,and accessible wc facilities in the north-west transept, constructing an adoration chapel in the south-east transept, the removal of continuous benching along the side aisle external walls and provision of new radiator covers at the same location, re-configuring of the lobby to the sacristy to provide improved fire escape, renewal of electrical services to include lighting, public address, fire and smoke alarms, and renewal of mechanical services to include the heating system and water supply, and a new drainage connection to facilitate new wc’s. The Church of the Sacred Heart, Templemore is a protected structure TM S10, and on the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage, NIAH Reg No 22308048.

Works within the curtilage of a Protected Structure Ref No TMS8. to erect a pedestrian entrance to Convent Burial Ground from Church Avenue, Templemore and to erect and a 1.8m boundary fence with screen hedging around the Burial Ground and install footpath and associated landscaping within the fenced area
