For the construction of a standalone bus shelter and all ancillary site development works

For the following works: change of use of existing laundry building to be used as a medical file store, to carry out alterations to existing building and undertake associated site works

For a 5,236 sq. m. three storey extension, with plant room at roof level, together with all necessary ancillary site works. The extension shall comprise of Emergency Department at Lower Ground Floor level, Endoscopy Unit and link corridor at Ground Floor Level, Inpatient Bed Ward at First Floor Level and Plant Room at Roof Level. It will also include the installation of Photovoltaic Panels on the roof of the existing hospital. The site works will include the provision of a carpark adjacent to the extension comprising 44 car spaces, 5 motorbike spaces and bicycle bay and a carpark comprising 150 parking spaces on the internal access road to the east of the extension

For Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade Works on the hospital campus which includes: 2no. new Substations. Substation Building 1 is located to the south west of the site and includes an associated compound and a containerised generator. Substation Building 2 is located to the north of the site and includes an associated compound and a containerised generator. In the location of Substation Building 2 works also include a new water tank, pumphouse, a new oil tank with associated fencing, and a gas compound containing 4no. gas tanks

- RED III - for the construction of a single storey geothermal plant building with an associated yard area including access stairs. The Geothermal plant building will house ground source heat pumps and will be connected by buried pipework to a series of geothermal boreholes located to the south of the existing hospital. This Geothermal Plant is set to serve the previously granted Cavan General Hospital extension planning application, Ref-2460276. The application includes all associated boundary treatments, landscaping, and site development works necessary to facilitate the installation and integration of the development within the hospital grounds

For the development of 7,588sqm accommodation, will comprise the following: 1) New 5 storey extension to accommodate an Emergency Department at Lower Ground Floor, an Endoscopy Unit at Ground Floor, Inpatient Ward Accommodation at First, Second and Third Floor, and Plant area at Fourth Floor 2) A link corridor to connect the proposed extension at ground floor level to the existing hospital at lower ground floor level. 3) External ASHP Compound and Plant 4) Waste Hold 5) Switch room constructed independently to the main build 6) 37 no. car parking spaces (including 10 no. accessible spaces and 4 no. EV charging spaces) 7) 7 no. motorbike spaces 8) All boundary treatments, vehicle and pedestrian accesses, landscaping, and associated site development works
