For a single storey extension with a single storey link corridor to existing main hospital building and ancillary site works including reconfiguration of existing footpaths and landscape and new ambulance set-down to provide Local Injuries Unit services, at Ennis Hospital, Ennis, Co Clare. The development is located within the site of Ennis Hospital, Gort Road, Ennis, where there are a number of existing protected structures. Some internal refurbishment works and alterations of the existing external wall are proposed at ground floor level to the main hospital building which is a protected structure (RPS 800 Hospital c. 1934-1940). The alterations to the external will consist of blocking or replacing existing windows which are not original and breaking up external envelope to provide the main corridor to the new unit.

For the development which will consist of a new three storey extension to the existing main Hospital building & ancillary site works including landscaping, parking, realignment of internal roadway, footpaths and waste compound and medical gases upgrade, to provide a Central Sterile Services Department at ground floor level, 2 operating Theatres, a 1st Stage Recovery Unit, supporting theatre accommodation and a link corridor at first floor level, and associated plantroom at second floor level. The proposed accommodation is for replacement and upgrade of existing accommodation. The development is accessed off Gort Road and is located to the rear of the Hospital within the curtilage of the existing Ennis Hospital. There are a number of existing protected structures within the site. Internal alterations and refurbishment works & alterations to the existing external walls and slabs are proposed at ground and first floor levels to the main hospital building, which is a protected structure (RPS No.: 800 County Hospital). The extension is within the curtilage of the Chapel (RPS No.: 801).

To a) regularise the demolition of the prefabricated staff unit and b) to RETAIN the construction of the new staff unit along with associated external works and services. The development is located within the existing footprint of Ennis Hospital where there are a number of existing protected structures. External lead flashing works were carried out to the protected structure (RPS 800 Hospital c. 1934-1940). This proposed development is within the curtilage of the protected structure (RPS 800 Hospital c. 1934-1940)

To RETAIN an existing temporary single storey proprietary modular unit with a link to existing main hospital building and ancillary site works currently providing Computerised Tomography Scan services at Ennis Hospital, Ennis, Co. Clare The development is located within the site of Ennis Hospital where there are a number of existing protected structures. No new works are proposed to this existing modular unit nor to any of the Protected Structures

For the development which consists of works to an existing ancillary building on the grounds of Ennis General Hospital (EGH), a protected structure (RPS No. 802, NIAH No: 20002020), which currently houses the EGH Pathology Laboratory, a boiler room, redundant generator room and store rooms. The development works will comprise the removal of existing partition walls and internal reconfigurations to provide an open plan Pathology Laboratory for Haematology and Biochemistry, with an entrance lobby for sample drop off and collection and other ancillary accommodation including a staff room, office, and store room; internal wall lining to thermally upgrade the building fabric; a new external plant enclosure centrally located at roof level to be accessed by altering and extending the existing external stairs with an additional stair flight; external conservation works to include the removal of later additions to the parapet wall, the reinstatement of a window opening (currently used as a door) on the south façade, the removal of attached service fittings, replacement of all non-original doors & windows, and repair works to the external render; along with associated site works and site services works for all of the above, all at the grounds of Ennis General Hospital,

To demolish an existing flat roof extension to the rear of the property and construct a new two storey extension to the rear of the existing property including all ancillary site services and works
