For the construction of a new external stepped access route from the rear of the site to the existing first and second floor dwelling units, associated internal alterations including the removal of the internal stairs between first and second floor, and all associated elevational changes and external works at No.'s 4,5 and 6

To retain 2 No. Dormer windows (replacing original roof lights) to the existing second floor dwelling unit, and elevational alterations to the rear of the existing first floor dwelling unit at No's 4, 5 and 6

To change the use of the existing ground floor shop unit for use as a credit union along with ancillary site works for a period of five years. The development is located within an Architectural Conservation Area.

For PERMISSION and RETENTION permission for development at a 0.07555 Ha site at Pot Duggan's Pub, New Road, Ennistymon, Co. Clare ( a Protected Structure ). RETENTION permission is sought for the change of use of the 2 No. dilapidated cottages to a multi-use function room ( 110 sq.m ); the change of use of the dilapidated outbuilding to toilets ( 10 sq.m); the provision of an outdoor upper beer garden ( 183 sq.m ); the provision of an outdoor lower beer garden ( 165 sq.m) and fence enclosure ( ranging in height from 1.2 No. metres to 2.4 No. metres ); and the change of use from a standard residential unit on the upper levels of Pot Duggan's Pub to use for short-term letting ( 101 sq.m). PERMISSION is also sought for the provision of a new "Pot Duggan's" sign on the rear wall facing the lower beer garden ( 500mm x 2,700mm with troy illumination), a new louvre kitchen extract and all associated site works.
