To carry out the following works. The works will consist of the following: 1) The demolition of existing rear extensions, and upgrade works to the existing cottages, including two new extensions to the rear. 2) Connections for both cottages and proposed extensions to existing site services. 3) The upgrade and extension of existing footpath. 5) All ancillary and associated works. The development involves the carrying out of works to the exterior of structures which are located within an architectural conservation area and would materially affect the character of the area concerned. In accordance with the Habitats Directive, Appropriate Assessment Screening has been carried out on the project, and the screening report accompanies the application. In accordance with Articles 81 and 120 of the Planning & Development Regulations 2001, (as amended), Clare County Council has concluded from an EIA screening determination that no significant effects on the environment are likely as a result of the proposed development and that an Environmental Impact Assessment is not required.
