PROTECTED STRUCTURE & RETENTION: Permission for development at a site located within the overall Grangegorman Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) of c.28.69ha at Grangegorman, Dublin 7. The specific site of the proposed development is located on the western side of Grangegorman Lower, east of The Top House Protected Structure (RPS No. 3282) and south of The Laundry Building Protected Structure (RPS No. 3287). No works to any of the protected structure is proposed as part of this application. PROTECTED STRUCTURE:]. Planning permission is sought for works to the public house, The Ha'penny Bridge Inn, located at 42 Wellington Quay D02 Y103 (protected structure RPS no. 8373) and to the adjoining building at 1 Fownes Street Lower D02 HW72 formerly in restaurant use, now vacant. The works relate to the existing public house at ground and first floors, and will involve the part demolition of a section of partition walls of the protected structure at ground and first floors and the creation of two new openings in the party wall of the protected structure, to provide access from no. 42 to the restaurant seating and kitchen in the Fownes Street building. No works are proposed to the elevations of 42 Wellington Quay. The proposal will include replacement front elevation signage for 1 Fownes Street Lower. These are to improve its presentation and include the removal of the external roller shutter and provision of a new shopfront at ground floor and removal of paint to the existing windows cills.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE / RETENTION: The development will consist of works for the retention at ground floor level for medical use and ancillary office/storage and WCs comprising of an area of 100.5 sq.m. No internal or external structural changes or alterations or modifications to rooms, decoration, existing entrance access through shared front door at ground floor level and all other associated site works.
Change of use from Educational Commercial/Offices to Medical Services/Offices with internal alterations & associated works, at First floor Parliament Buildings, Exchange St Upr & Cork Hill, with main access 38-40 Parliament St. DO2W889.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission to install 21 no. antenna, 5 no. Transmission Dishes on ballast mounted supporting poles together with associated equipment, cabinets and site works at the roof level. The installation will form part of the Eircom Limited, Three Ireland (Hutchison) Limited and Vodafone Ireland telecommunications network. This application relates to lands within the Grangegorman Strategic Development Zone. There are a number of Protected Structures within Grangegorman SDZ. The specific site of the proposed development is located on the western side of Grangeorman Lower, east of The Top House Protected Structure (RPS No.3282) and south of The Laundry Building Protected Structure (RPS No. 3287). No works to any of the protected structures is proposed as part of this application.

The total area of signage proposed extends to c. 16.54 sqm.
RETENTION PERMISSION is sought on behalf of Thibault Peigne for (i) the retention of two arrowheads that are painted onto the front façade between the two windows at the first-floor level, (ii) a roller shutter and (iii) a retractable awning attached to the shop front façade of No. 147 Parnell Street, Dublin 1, DO1 V4A8. PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission for development Nos. 43-44 Temple Bar (The Temple Bar Trading Company) which is partially internally linked to Nos. 47-48 Temple Bar and Nos. 14-16 Temple Lane South (The Temple Bar Pub), Dublin 2. No. 48 Temple Bar is a protected structure, however no works are proposed at or adjacent to no. 48 Temple Bar. The development which is proposed within nos. 43-44 Temple Bar will principally consist of the change of use from ancillary back-of-house retail storage room to ancillary public house preparation area (11.5 sq m), including the replacement of a 1.5 metre length of internal connecting wall with a preparatory counter. This proposed application will supersede the partially implanted permission granted under DCC Reg. Ref. 4715/18, which principally proposed the provision of a ground floor accessible WC (implemented); and the change of use (90 sq. m) of the rear of the first floor of nos. 43-44 temple Bar from ancillary retail storage to public house toilets and cleaner's store (not implemented). In this regard, the preciously proposed stair core at ground to first floor level ancillary public house space is now replaced with the proposed preparatory area, with the first floor level retaining its existing retail use.
The development will consist of the demolition of existing single storey rear extension and construction of a one and two storey extension to rear with 3 no. rooflights, 1 no. rooflight to rear of existing main roof and 1 no. rooflight to front of existing main roof and all associated site works.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE - A Protected Structure within the O'Connell Street Architectural Conservation Area. The development will consist of the fit-out of the Ground Floor area as a footwear/clothing retail unit. The works also include for the restoration of the original historic ceiling including the provision of 3 no. 900mm wide x 300mm high internally and halo illuminated signs consisting of 180mm high stainless steel individual letters and 300mm high stainless steel logo all halo illuminated with internal LED fittings to stand off fascia by 35mm. The proposed signage to be located over the existing entrance door and on the Lower O'Connell Street and Middle Abbey Street elevations.
The development will consist of alterations and extension to the existing two storey terraced house to include demolition of the existing single storey rear extension and provision of partial two storey & partial single storey rear extension with associated external private open space. The application also includes two rooflights to the existing rear roof slope, a side rooflight to the first-floor rear extension, replacement of the existing windows and door to the front elevation and the re-instating an access door in the rear boundary wall to the rear laneway.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE / RETENTION: Olympia Real Estate Limited intends to apply for retention planning permission for use of 10 no. apartments as short-term lettings / tourist accommodation at 1-3 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, D02 AN28 and 81 Dame Street, Dublin 2, D02 VW57. There is no prospective development nor internal or external works proposed to the Protected Structures listed under RPS Ref. no. 6321 and 2132.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The development will consist of the construction of a link on each of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors between the existing front block on Bachelors Walk and the existing centre block behind to allow the existing lifts in the centre block provide universal access to the front block. The links on each floor will include 4 additional bedrooms on each floor, a total for 12 bedrooms. This work does not interfere with the façade of the building which is a Protected Structure.
RETENTION: Planning permission is sought for retention for a kitchen extension to the rear of the existing dwelling house.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Protected Structures, Appendix IV of the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028 under Reg No.6005. PROTECTED STRUCTURE: the existing building is three storey facing Wellington Quay with a two storey extension to the rear facing and set back from the adjoining Merchants Arch Laneway. Permission is sought to change the use of the building from existing retail on ground floor level, storage at basement, first floor, first floor return and second floor levels to a licensed restaurant at ground floor level, kitchen/toilets basement level and guest house comprising 3 bedrooms at first floor, 2 bedrooms in an extension of the first floor return and 3 bedrooms at second floor level - total 8 no double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The development works, to the residential dwelling at no 27, will consist of the re-opening of 2 no blocked-up original window openings and the replacement of recent metal security doors, all at pavement level, and the insertion of new timber framed windows and metal privacy screening.
PROTECTED STRUCURE: RETENTION & PERMISSION: Planning Permission for a development to the single storey rear return of No. 30-31 O'Connell Street Lower, Dublin 1 (A Protected Structure).
