Cairn Homes Properties Limited intend to apply to An Bord Pleanála for planning permission for a strategic housing development at former the Blakes and Esmonde Motors sites, Lower Kilmacud Road, the Stillorgan Road (N11) and The Hill, Stillorgan Co. Dublin. The site is located to the south east of Stillorgan Village Centre, to the west of the N11, and to the north and north east of The Hill. The development will consist of the demolition of existing vacant buildings (3,087.4 sq.m.) and the construction of a mixed use development comprising of a student accommodation development (179 no. student accommodation units (576 no. bed spaces) including student amenities such as gym, study spaces, communal lounges), 103 no. residential apartment units including private balconies / terraces on all elevations, comprising of (24 no. 1 bed units, 70 no. 2 bed units and 9 no. 3 bed units), 907 sq.m. of retail / restaurant / café / co-working space and a community sports hall (297.6 sq.m.) all on a site of 1.345 hectares.
