    The development will consist of the change of use of No. 144B (77.5 sq m) from an existing retail unit to restaurant and the amalgamation of Nos. 144A and 144B to provide an enlarged McDonald’s restaurant (495.5 sq m), the 2 no. units were previously subdivided in the 1990’s and as such, the proposed development will restore the ground floor of the building to its original layout of 1 no. commercial unit. The proposed development also includes associated amendments to the facade of the proposed enlarged restaurant unit with associated signage and digital window poster; amendments to the existing drive thru arrangement principally comprising the replacement of the single drive thru lane with with a 2 no. lane drive thru arrangement with associated signage and menu boards; the relocation of the 4 no. existing accessible car parking spaces to facilitate to the new drive thru arrangement; and 1 no. new car parking space adjacent to the western boundary of the subject site.Decision record indexed
