PROTECTED STRUCTURE: We, the Board of St Patrick's Cathedral, intend to apply for permission for works at St Patrick's Cathedral, Minot Tower (Toilets), St. Patrick's Close, Dublin 8 (a protected structure RPS ref. no. 6443 & 6444 and a Recorded Monument DU018-020269). The works will include the following: 1. Removal of all partitions and toilet fittings/fixtures from the disabled WC and three-cubicle unisex toilets. 2. Removal of tiled floor finish and installation of a new stone floor finish. 3. Removal of plasterboard wall linings to expose the historic masonry on the north, east and west walls, which will be finished with limewash. 4. Installation of four self-contained cubicles, one cleaner's store and one accessible WC and changing area, all with new fittings and fixtures. 6. Removal of modern oak and glass door assembly. 7. Removal of two steps, or recent construction to expose bases of medieval doorway and facilitate Installation of a new compliant ramp to replace the existing non-compliant ramp. 8. All new foul drainage to be connected to existing drains that run under the concrete slab, under the suspended ground floor of the Minot Tower. 9.
