Permission is being sought for 1) demolition of the existing pitched roofs and flat roof to the rear of the existing house and the construction of a first floor extension over 2) relocation of existing pedestrian access gates on Albert Road Lower to a new location 3) provision of 2.8m wide vehicular access gates from Marine Court with single car parking bay and associated site works.

The development will consist/ consists s of: Alterations to existing dwelling incorporating new canopy to entrance, internal alteration and upgrade works involving associated alterations to existing fenestration, converting of attic space to non-habitable accommodation along with provision of new rooflights, and single-storey extension to rear providing new open-plan kitchen / living / dining space. Planning permission is sought by Des Noctor for small extension at ground and first floor levels to rear of existing dwelling. The works comprise of extending the existing first floor level kitchen to enclose the existing first floor level external balcony area, as well as extending the small ground floor bedroom immediately below it. The existing rear-facing bay window will be retained, and a new bay window of matching appearance will be added beside it. A rooflight is included as shown on the drawing set.
