The 34 no. independent (supervised) living units are provided in 4 no. main house types as follows: 12 no. semi-detached 2-bed general needs houses (Type A, 2-storey c.74.7sqm); 4 no. semi-detached 2-bed general needs house (Type B, 2 storey c75.6sqm): 6 no. 2 bed apartments (Type C/C1, 2 storey c.65sqm plus c.92sqm communal/circulation areas). Parking is provided for 67 cars and access from the L2180 Arklow Road is permitted under Reg. Ref. 09/1169 (extended under Reg. Ref. 15/151). The development will also comprise changes in level including cut & fill works, provision of retaining walls, on-site waste water treatment system, hard & soft landscaping works, and all other associated site excavation & site development works above & below ground)

Extend the appropriate period of a permission - 15/473 - Engineering and Public Health & Safety works on a site at East Avoca Mines including (1) re-routing of existing electricity line to run underground along the access road to the east of the site and removal of the pylon located within the site (2) stabilisation, safety and drainage works at the “850 Adit” including rehabilitation and reconstruction of the entrance portal and first 30m (approximately) of the adit, provision of new gates and provision of a 750m long (approximately) drainage pipeline on the floor of the existing adit to address existing safety, structural, environment and drainage issues (3) restoration and stabilisation works to the “Ore Bins” and the adjacent crib wall to address existing structural and safety issues (4) minor protection works to the exposed portal of the “Upper Flat Rod Tunnel” adjacent to the Ore Bins to ensure earthworks in the area do not impact on its integrity or setting (5) development of a surface and underground drainage network on the road to the rear of the site and across the spoil heap to facilitate improved site drainage (6) stabilisation and re-grading of the spoil heaps and embankments, capping of the spoil heaps and landscaping works to facilitate the movement of surface water, to protect human health through the prevention of direct contact and/or airborne inhalation to minimise pollution of adjacent watercourses, and (7) ancillary site development works at the site. Without prejudice the Minister is also seeking retention permission in relation to works to the spoil heaps and associated ground adjacent to the railway line. All of the proposed works relate to the Protected Structure “East Avoca Mines” at Tigroney West (Wicklow County Development Plan Reference PS35-13) which includes features described as “ The flat rod tunnels, spoil heaps and associated disturbed ground AO

The decommissioning and demolition of the existing Avoca Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the construction of a new Wastewater Treatment Plant to include: a new foul pump station, inlet works, storm tank, aeration tank, 2 no. final settlement tanks, sludge drying reed beds, 2 no. RAS/WAS Pump Stations, new administration building, final effluent outfall headwall, emergency flow headwall, surface water drainage settlement pond and outfall, and all ancillary works including pipework, pumps, sumps, chambers, air blowers and tanks;new access off the Tower Avenue: and all associated site development, site excavation and landscaping works, including fencing/boundary treatments, above and below ground

The importation of material to in-fill and re-contour the subject site. Once the importation is complete, the applicant will seed the land in line with Teagasc guidelines and return it to agricultural use. The Operational Phase will see the Site being used as agricultural pastureland. The applicant proposes, subject to planning, to import clean greenfield soil and stone to remediate approximately 2.43ha of the total site. The 2.43ha. is divided into 3 distinct phases - Phase 1 is 0.78ha, Phase 2 is 0.77ha and Phase 3 is 0.88ha. A fill plan has been drawn up for the importation of 18,200tonnes to fill Phase 1, 23,085tonnes to fill Phase 2, and 42,721tonnes to fill Phase 3, equating to a total of 84,006tonnes of soil and stone. Permission is being sought for a 5-year period and will be subject to a waste facility permit

Erection of a new 2.1m High Boundary Fence at the National Botanic Gardens, Kilmacurragh, Kilmacurra West, Kilbride, Co. Wicklow, A67 YR12 along the roadside boundary to the L1152 from the Southern Gate into the National Botanic Gardens to Barndarrig GAA Grounds along with a new fence to the Roadside Boundary between The National Botanic Gardens and the laneway to the North of Barndarrig GAA. The proposed fence will be a wire mesh fence with interim concrete posts which will be set back from the road edge. The works include the removal of the existing barbed wire fence and the replacement of the existing roadside gates with new gates. These works are being undertaken to reduce illegal dumping along the side of the Public Road in this area. The site is located on the boundary of National Botanic Gardens, Kilmacurragh on the Historic Site of Westaston Demesne. The House at Kilmacurragh is a protected structure and is contained on the Record of Protected Structures in the Wicklow County Development Plan 2016 – 2022. The Historic Site of Westaston Demesne is a Recorded Monument Protected under Section 12 of the National Monuments (Amendment) Act, 1994

Demolition of an existing underground wastewater treatment plant and ancillary structures and the construction of a new and expanded underground wastewater treatment plant. The proposed development includes the provision of: new underground tanks, chambers, pumps and piping; a mechanical screen (2.43 m in height); 4 no. ancillary control kiosks/cabinets (ranging in height from 1.41 m to 2.14 m); an odour control unit (1.6 m in height); the provision of an extension to the 2.4 m high paladin fence and an associated access gate (4 m wide; 2.4 m in height) extending the enclosed area to facilitate the expanded wastewater treatment plant (by 182 sq m); and the provision of additional planting within the extended fencing. A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared in respect of this planning application

The development at Kilmacurragh House (A Protected Structure) will consist of: The stabilisation and restoration of the building exterior including; reinstatement of the natural slate roof to the Original House and South Wing, replacement roof to Kitchen Wing. Repairs and minor works to the Bull Nose Wing roof. Reinstatement and structural repairs to external and internal walls. Repair and reinstatement of external rough cast render to all facades. Repair to existing solid floor finishes at ground floor and basement level where present and reinstatement of floor structures at first floor level. Repair of existing external joinery and reinstatement of external joinery where it is beyond repair or missing. Installation of 3 new internal stairs.
