Re-pointing, including raking out the existing pointing and repointing the brickwork in a wigged joint to the front facade. Reinstatement of historic sash windows with slimline double glazing to replace non-original sashes, along with all associated ancillary works to the foregoing.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE:The application consists of the repair and refurbishment of the existing mews, into a residence for accommodation requirements associated with the duties of the Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) based at 73 Merrion Square and includes, 1. Provision of new entrance and ancillary accommodation on the ground floor plan including 12.5m2 of new extension to the existing, 2. New arrangement and partitions on the first floor to provide bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining, living and study areas including 2.8m2 first floor extension on the south elevation, 3. Amendments to the south elevation (facing Fitzwilliam Lane) to include first floor extension, amendments to existing window openings, provision of a new window opening & installation of external insulation, 4. Amendments to the north elevation including a revised vehicular and pedestrian opening, new window installation into existing window openings & installation of external insulation, 5.The addition of 4 no. new roof-lights to the existing double pitched roof including 1 no. between the front and rear hipped roofs, 1 no. to the east facing hip of the front/south hipped roof and 2 no. to the north facing pitch of the rear/north hipped roof, 6. The demolition of the existing non-historic boundary wall to Fitzwilliam Lane and the provision of new pedestrian and vehicular gates and entrances to the boundary and, 7. External landscaping associated with the above.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The site is within the curtilage of 16 Fitzwilliam Square East. The development will consist of: 1. Removal of the existing internal walls, floors, & roof of the existing mews building. 2. Construction of new internal layouts, ground floor extension, & second floor extension with flat roof, 3. The extension & refurbishment of the mews building will provide 2no 'own front door' apartments for medium-term rental use in the form of 1no ground floor apartment (3bed/6person apartment with private courtyard & shared garden space with 16 Fitzwilliam Sq) & 1no 1st/2nd floor duplex apartment (3bed/5person apartment with 2F terrace).
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission for development at this site (c. 0.095 Ha) at Pembroke Lane and to the rear of Nos. 124/125, Baggot Street Lower(Protected Structures), Dublin 2. The site is otherwise generally bounded by Baggot Street Lower to the north, Pembroke Lane to the south, the rear curtilage of No. 123 Baggot Street Lower (Protected Structure) and Baggot Court to the east, and the rear curtilage of No. 126 Baggot Street Lower (Protected Structure) and Pembroke Street Lower to the west. The proposed development (c. 890.7 sq m gross floor area) comprises residential development of 12no. apartment units (5no. 1-bed, 6 no. 2-bed and 1no. 3- bed), accommodated in 2no. linked buildings, each 4 storeys (with 3rd floor setbacks), arranged around an open courtyard. All apartments provided with balconies on northern and southern elevations. And, all ancillary and associated site development, infrastructural, landscaping and site boundary works, including: The demolition of an existing boundary wall to Pembroke Lane and the remains of a derelict two-storey mews building within the curtilage of No. 125 Baggot Street Lower (Protected Structure). The reuse of the stone material from the remains of the derelict two storey mews building. Repositioning of existing vehicular site entrance on Pembroke Lane. Removal of 36.no. existing commercial car parking spaces and reconfiguration of 4no. car parking spaces for existing commercial use associated with Nos. 124-126 Baggot St inclusive. Provision of 28no. bicycle parking spaces at surface level. Communal amenity open space (c. 125 sq m), including the creation of a new landscaped garden area to the rear of Nos. 124-125 Baggot Street for sole use of the proposed residential development. Plant and bin store at ground level and photovoltaic panels and plant at roof level. The application site adjoins the Fitzwilliam Square & Environs Architectural Conservation Area.
PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission for development of lands (0.2465 hectares) at No. 14 Lad Lane, Dublin 2. The site falls within the curtilage, and to the rear of a Protected Structure at No. 14 Fitzwilliam Square East, Dublin 2. The development will consist of the demolition of a contemporary 2 No.storey mews dwelling house (140sqm) and the construction of a 2 No. storey mews building (233 sqm) containing 3 No. apartments comprising 2 No. one bed apartments (53 sq m and 51 sq m) and 1 No. two bed apartment (92 sq m). The development also includes balconies and terraces facing south-east and north-west; bicycle store; bin store; green roofs; hard and soft landscaping; boundary works; plant and all other ancillary works above and below ground.
