Internal alterations and refurbishment works & alterations to the existing external walls and slabs are proposed at ground and first floor levels to the main hospital building, which is a protected structure (RPS No.: 800 County Hospital). The extension is within the curtilage of the Chapel (RPS No.: 801).

To demolish an existing extension constructed to the rear of a dwelling house, and construct a new extension also to the rear of the dwelling house, all with associated site works

There are Natura 2000 sites within the vicinity of the development and therefore a habitate directive appropriate assessment screening has been carried out.
