The development will consist of: Retention permission and permission for alterations to a residential dwelling previously approved under Reg. Ref. F20A/0115. Retention permission is sought for (i) the omission of the second floor level and roof terrace - access remains to this level to facilitate building maintenance; (ii) reconfiguration of internal layout at ground and first floor level; (iii) insertion of new rear/north-facing window and alteration of side/west-facing window at first floor level; (iv) alterations to rear/north-facing window and insertion of clear glazing to side/west-facing window at ground floor level; (v) omission of chimney; (vi) reduction of maximum building height from the permitted 6.41m to 6.36m and alterations to roof profile to provide 3 no. separate ridge levels. Permission is sought for (i) replacement of windows on side/east elevation at ground floor level with non-opening opaque glazed windows; and, (ii) alterations to rear/north-facing window at first floor level to provide opaque glazing.

The permanent retention of works comprising alterations to the permitted development, a single dwelling house (Planning Reference: F20A/0115), including the reduction of the building footprint and internal floor area, increase in ground floor entrance level to accommodate existing road levels, internal reorganisation of spaces to facilitate improved disabled access (including provision of lift and omission of lower ground floor level), revised terrace levels to the rear of the building to accommodate the revised entrance level and accessible access. The alternations include an increase in the overall building height to facilitate the revised internal arrangement, the provision of glazed guardings to the permitted roof terraces in lieu of permitted parapet guardings and the omission of the permitted chimney stack at roof level. The alterations include elevation changes including revised window and door fenestration layouts to all elevations.
