The widening of the existing gateway, with two new replica piers to be erected at the western side of the entrance to match the existing pier on the eastern side. The proposed development consists of work to the curtilage of a protected structure. The gateway would be widened to 3500mm at the base of the piers, appropriate dishing of the existing public footpath and associated site works.
