For the extension of the services yard at Building 2, Block K, Airport Avenue, Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, Co Clare to accommodate a new gas compound, pipe rack and all associated site development works. The development will also consist of alterations to the existing car parking bays to the southeast of the site

For the construction of a single storey extension to the South West side of Building 2, Block K, Airport Avenue, Shannon Free Zone, Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, Co Clare. The proposed extension of 250m2 will house a goods in and out, office, stores and plant rooms. The development will also consist of external roof access stairs, canopy and associated site works

For the construction of an internal first floor mezzanine to the Northeast and Southwest sides of Building 3, Block, Airport Avenue, Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, County Clare. The proposed mezzanine floor of 885m2 will house offices, laboratories and plant. The existing ground floor will house offices, clean rooms, storage and associated welfare facilities. The development also consists of alterations to the existing roof to provide permanent stair access for maintenance and associated site and services works

For a period of 3 years for the provision of single storey prefabricated temporary office accommodation and all associated site development works

For the addition of an air handling unit platform and containment enclosure together with the extension of an existing stair core to roof level to provide permanent access for maintenance including all associated site works and services

For the installation of smart traffic lights and pedestrian crossings with all associated site works, at the four-way junction between Blocks N, O, Q & P

For the construction of three external monolith signs to the perimeter of Buildings 2 and 3 and one fixed sign to the service yard of Building 2,

For the construction of a two storey external plant structure and single storey external bin store within the existing service yard

For alterations to the existing south west elevation and works to the existing roof at Building 2, Block K, Airport Avenue, Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, County Clare. The works to the façade include the addition of fresh air intake louvres, alterations to the existing roller shutter doors and the addition of an external canopy. The works to the roof include the provision of additional roof cowls and access hatches

The development consists of the alterations to the previously granted permissions (Planning Ref: P20/478 & P20/416) comprising of revisions including, the relocation of the external enclosed yard from an East/West orientation to a North/South orientation, relocating louvres to the elevations to suit servicing requirements, amending the roof layout & positions of roof cowls and several internal layout amendments to the PMU Warehouse area of the plan. Note: there is no increase in floor area, the mezzanine grid floor supports additional plant only. The proposed development also includes the addition of a new canopy structure above a new entrance to the South West Elevation, a new roller shutter door, a new window and external door to an office space and obscure glazing for privacy along the North West Elevation
