Alterations to the existing vehicular entrance to the Borris WWTP off the R702 and planning permission for the proposed widening of the existing entrance, associated revised entrance arrangement including reinstatement of piers and gates, and all associated site development works above and below ground

Permission for development to provide for the upgrade of the Borris Wastewater Treatment Plant and will generally comprise the following: construction of a new inlet works with an automatic screen and grit removal, the construction of a new storm water holding tank complete with internal forward feed balance tank, internal cleaning system, internal storm return pumps, access stairs and platform; construction of new sludge holding tank complete with internal mixer, access stairs and platform; construction of new supernatant return and final effluent wash water pumping stations; conversion of existing sludge tank to a sludge feed pump station; installation of a GRP kiosk to house electrical control panel; and all ancillary site works. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared in respect of the proposed development
