For the construction of a fenced enclosure containing a dark fibre POP cabin with all associated site works adjacent to Building 156, Shannon Free Zone, Shannon, Co Clare

The development consists of the demolition of an existing common overflow carparking area to facilitate the provision of a light industrial facility with ancillary office space, yard spaces, refuse stores with carparking, bicycle parking, ESB substation, switch room and associated site works. PERMISSION is sought for the industrial and office facility to have the flexibility to be subdivided as follows: Option A: One No. Unit (Area: 5886m2) with Ancillary Yard and Refuse Store. Option B: Two No. Units (Units 01 Area: 3913m2) (Unit 02 Area: 1973m2) with Two No. Ancillary Yards and Two No. Refuse Stores. Option C: Three No. Units (Area Unit 01: 1973m2 / Area Unit 02: 1940m2 / Area Unit 3: 1973m2) with Three No. Ancillary Yards and Three No. Refuse Stores. Other works include the provision of 156 no. carparking spaces which include accessible spaces, EV charging areas and set-down areas with vehicular and HGV access points to the perimeter of site.
