For development of a sewerage scheme at Skagh Point, Kilrush, Co Clare. The development will consist of: (1) the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant adjacent to the existing wastewater tidal outfall tank at Skagh Point, Kilrush comprising of inlet screening works, odour unit, primary splitter chamber, 2 no. primary settlement tanks, sludge, storm return and effluent pumping stations with associated gantry cranes, stormwater storage tank, sludge picket fence thickener, administration / control building, retaining wall, task lighting, boundary fencing, landscaping and scheme signage. Access to the wastewater treatment plant to be provided via a proposed new entrance onto the public road network.
