The provision of pedestrian friendly raise tables and minor road realignments of the Gort Road, Kilvoydan and Church Street. 3. Provision of a Shuttle Bus stop with bus shelter on Gort Road. 4. Reconfiguration of on street parking spaces to provide age friendly and disabled parking spaces in accessible locations. 5. All associated site development and landscaping works. 6. Change of use, renovation and extension of Corofin Union Workhouse (RPS No. 434 Clare County Development Plan) Newtown to provide Artists Studios with associated site development and landscaping works including enhanced public realm works and the provision of 4 no. parking spaces. 7. A new Community Garden at Newtown adjacent to Corofin Union Workhouse with new planting and enhanced public realm.; The subject works are partially located within the Corofin Architectural Conservation Area. Corofin Union Workhouse is a protected Structure, Record of Protected Structures, RPS ID: 434 (Clare County Development Plan). In accordance with the Habitats Directive, an Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening has been carried out in respect of the proposed works. An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening determination has been made and concludes that there is no likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed works
