The works will include the following (1) installation of a 7.8 tonne/hr natural gas fired steam generator within the existing boiler house and associated pump skids, pipework, electrics and control system, (2) installation of a 18.6m high, 1,050mm diameter flue gas stack on the steam generator including support steel and access platforms, (3) installation of a 810mm diameter interconnecting flue gas duct, (4) installation of a 4,000 litre stainless steel water storage feed tank (trap separator) and booster pumps within the existing boiler house, (5) excavation works and reinforced concrete foundation for the flue gas stack and (6) provision of new trimmer steel to existing boiler house roof to facilitate installation of the new flue gas stack. The proposed development is covered by an existing Industrial Emissions License No. P0004-05.
