The development will consist of the construction of (i) a Solar PV development comprising photovoltaic panels laid out in arrays over a total development site area of ca. 91.2ha, (ii) the construction of a 38kV substation building ((6.1m (h) x 20.9 (l) and 7.3 (w)) and associated compound area, a transformer unit (ca. 6m x ca. 3.6m) and associated bund, (iii) 352 number Battery Energy Storage System units comprising 22 modules (ca. 21.9m x ca.5.2m) each with 16 number cabinet units within each module and (iv) all ancillary development including 15 number transformer integrated units (ca. 10.5m x ca.2.7m), 12 number inverter units (ca. 6.0m x ca.2.4m), 7 number CCTV cameras mounted on 4m high poles, a 3m high acoustic barrier, with berm and fencing, perimeter security fencing, site access, site egress and all ancillary works and services. The development will have a 40-year operational lifetime. Permission currently exists for a PV development on ca/65.6ha of the site (Planning Permission Ref No. 21/23) that will be superseded by this application if approved
To construct a two storey dwelling, detached single storey double garage, upgrading of existing entrance, bored well, waste water treatment system, percolation area and all associated site works
A ten-year planning permission for a solar energy development with a total site area of 77 hectares comprising (i) photovoltaic solar panels on steel mounting frames; (ii) electrical inverters; (iii) electrical power stations; (iv) underground electrical and communications cabling; (v) containerised battery energy storage facility; (vi) the upgrade of 2 no. disused site entrances, decommissioning of 2 no. existing site entrances and development of 1 no. new site entrance; (vii) on-site access tracks; (viii) a temporary construction compound; (ix) security fencing and security gates; (x) pole-mounted security cameras; and (xi) all associated site and ancillary site development, landscaping and reinstatement works. For proposed works to include a solar and storage park on an area of approximately 68.8 hectares, comprising linear arrays of solar photovoltaic panels mounted on steel supported structures with associated cabling and ducting (including cable connection to the proposed onsite 110 kV tail fed substation), 50 inverter substations, a storage park (including 30 no. containers with battery cells, transformers and power conversion units), perimeter fencing, 8 no. palisade double security gates, 3 no. temporary construction compound/material storage areas, 6 no. steel storage containers, 17 no. turning bays, CCTV, a temporary construction stage wheel wash system and all associated ancillary development works. Elgin Energy Services Ltd. are applying for the proposed development to have planning permission that is effective for 10 years (and an operational period of 40 years). A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared and will be submitted to the planning Authority with the Planning Application.

Power Hubs (ca. 15.25m2 x 2.4m) which incorporate an inverter and a transformer, 1 no. single storey communications building (11.1m2 x 2.5m), 1 no. single storey client side sub-station building (15.25m2 x 2.9m), 1 no. single storey equipment storage building (7.5m2 x 2.7m), 10 no. CCTV cameras mounted on 4m high poles, perimeter security fencing, site access, site egress and all ancillary works. Permission currently exists for a PV development on part of the site (Planning Permission Ref No. 16325). An Natura Impact Statement will accompany the planning application.
For proposed works which will include a solar farm on an area of approximately 27.0 hectares, comprising photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames, 1 No., onsite 38kV substation, an energy storage system (4 No. units), 10 No. single storey inverter/transformer stations, security fencing, a palisade double security gate, 2 No. storage containers, CCTV, a temporary construction stage wheelwash system and all ancillary development works. Elgin Energy Services Ltd are applying for the proposed solar farm to have planning permission that is effective for 10 years (and an operational period of 35 years). The planning application incudes a Natura Impact Statement
