For a new monastery to consist of a change of building design from that granted under Planning Permission Ref. 17/1239. The new building design will consist of a single and three storey monastery building and the demolition and reconstruction of an existing single storey area at the rear of the existing Chapel building. All other aspects of the granted permission 17/1239 will still be carried out, but do not form part of this change of building design application. These other aspects include the demolition of an existing single-storey storage unit; a new ESB substation building with switchroom adjacent; the reconfiguration of the footpath on the existing access bridge from the visitors car park area to facilitate construction works; 10 car parking spaces at the west of the proposed building for residents use; and ancillary hard and soft landscaping works and all ancillary site works. This application will be accompanied by a Natura Impact Statement (NIS).
