Amendments to previously granted permission by An Bord Pleanala APB-311671-21 (Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council reference D21A/0051) for development to rear of 'Craughwell', 'Fairholme', & 'St. Benedict's, 'Brighton Rd, Foxrock, D18. The lands are generally bounded to the west by the former Harcourt Street tramline corridor and Leopardstown Racecourse, to the south by Brighton Wood development, and to the north by private grounds of an existing dwelling ‘Goleen’. The alterations will consist of the following: 1) Addition of lift overrun and AOV’s on the roof of the apartment building including guarding around one access hatch for safe access; 2) Minor elevation changes to the apartment building; 3) One additional window to the north facade.

Permission is sought for the temporary use of lands as a temporary ice rink utilising vehicular and pedestrian access at the south east corner of the site, provision of drop off facility and 98 no. car parking spaces, temporary provision of septic tank, on site generator and temporary connection to local water mains and ancillary works within a fenced area of approx. 0.85ha. The proposed development will consist of one stand-alone marquee structure of 45.00m by 60.00m. The temporary use will be operational from 28th October 2022 to 31st January 2023 and equivalent periods over the following two years within the temporary three year period sought. Site works including the erection and deconstruction of the proposed structure will occur in the two weeks before and after the period specified above. The hours of use of the proposed temporary facility will 10.00 to 22.00.

Retention permission for internal alterations to the existing recreational building known as 'Fitzone' comprising first floor area over central zone of existing ground floor to create additional floor space for, pre-school, after school classrooms, kitchen, toilets, ancillary offices and group dining area including modifications to existing elevations and associated site works.
