Corofin Union Workhouse, Kilvoydan (RPS No. 434 Clare County Development Plan). 6. R476 Ennis Road. 7. R476 Kilnaboy Road. 8. R460 Station Road. 9. Inchiquin Lake. 10. Kilvoydan Cemetery. 11. Lough Atedaun. Nature and Extent of Works: 1. The provision of enhanced public realm to include upgrades to hard landscaping, new street furniture, signage, cycle parking, street trees and green areas along with other ancillary works. 2. The provision of pedestrian friendly raise tables and minor road realignments of the Gort Road, Kilvoydan and Church Street. 3. Provision of a Shuttle Bus stop with bus shelter on Gort Road. 4. Reconfiguration of on street parking spaces to provide age friendly and disabled parking spaces in accessible locations. 5. All associated site development and landscaping works. 6. Change of use, renovation and extension of Corofin Union Workhouse (RPS No. 434 Clare County Development Plan) Newtown to provide Artists Studios with associated site development and landscaping works including enhanced public realm works and the provision of 4 no. parking spaces. 7. A new Community Garden at Newtown adjacent to Corofin Union Workhouse with new planting and enhanced public realm.; The subject works are partially located within the Corofin Architectural Conservation Area. Corofin Union Workhouse is a protected Structure, Record of Protected Structures, RPS ID: 434 (Clare County Development Plan). In accordance with the Habitats Directive, an Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening has been carried out in respect of the proposed works. An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) screening determination has been made and concludes that there is no likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed works
For (a) the demolition of the existing concrete porch at the front of the dwelling, (b) the construction of a new single-storey extension to the rear of the existing dwelling, (c) the construction of a porch to the side of the existing dwelling, (d) modifications to the elevations of the existing dwelling and RETENTION Permission for (e) the extension to the east side of the dwelling and all ancillary site works
