The proposed development consists of the construction of 9 no. 4-bed detached dwelling houses, 26 no. 4-bed semi-detached dwelling houses, 1 no. 3-bed detached dwelling house, 16 no. 3-bed semi-detached/terraced dwelling houses, 6 no. 3-bed and 6 no. 1-bed apartment/duplex units contained in 3 no. 2/3 storey apartment blocks. Vehicular access to site will be via a new entrance from Convent Hill (L-2011) to the north and the entrance permitted under Cork County Council Reference 06/4528 from the Dunmanway Road (R586) to the south. The proposed development also includes 2 no. separate pedestrian access points from the Dunmanway Road connecting into the public footpath network. Infrastructure development works will comprise the diversion and/or undergrounding of 10 kV ESB powerlines, surface water attenuation, wastewater and water utility services. The proposed development also includes open space, landscaping, car parking spaces, bicycle racks, bin stores, public lighting and all ancillary site development works.
